Background

As one of the leading educational publishers in Germany, Ernst Klett Verlag brings socially relevant topics to the stage with this format - from media use to the pressure of expectations in everyday school life. The series is aimed specifically at teachers and trainee teachers - in other words, those who are confronted with these issues on a daily basis.

In order to provide a broad perspective, we specifically included people who are active on social media in the education sector - and who also work as teachers. Their voices bring fresh, honest insights into everyday school life and challenge entrenched views - always with a practical perspective.

Challenge

The focus was on developing a content concept and a visual identity that allows for tension without dramatizing. In order to do justice to the diversity of perspectives within the teaching profession, a format was conceived that offers room for contrasts in terms of both content and design. Clear statements, targeted questions and a striking design create a structure that encourages discussion and yet remains accessible.
