The House of Digitalization’s website needed a fresh approach to improve usability, provide clearer access to its many resources, and bring the innovative vibe of its physical spaces into the digital realm. The initiative is owned by the state of Lower Austria and funded by the EU.
Haus der Digitalisierung
Corporate website
The House of Digitalization, a flagship initiative funded by the EU and owned by the state of Lower Austria, serves as a key project to promote digital transformation. It offers both virtual and physical hubs for collaboration, education, and innovation. In addition to connecting SMEs and experts, the House also hosts exhibitions, events, and cooperates with universities to explore and showcase the latest advancements in digitalization. These activities reinforce its mission of fostering a vibrant community and bridging the gap between academia, industry, and the public.
For the website redesign, the goal was clear: create a digital experience that mirrors these principles while addressing the needs of various user groups. It needed to be a visually engaging, easily navigable, and up-to-date resource that inspires enthusiasm for digital transformation.
The outdated website was cluttered with irrelevant content, making it hard for visitors to find what they needed. Its design was visually dated and didn’t reflect the innovative and modern vibe of the physical spaces. Together with the client, we rethought the content strategy and streamlined the site to create a cleaner, more user-focused experience.
Incorporating CGI 3D elements, designed by Anna Schlamp, added a subtle yet engaging layer of interactivity to the site, aligning perfectly with the digital-first vision.
